Tokaido Ramen & Bar

We came here for a late lunch a while back since we'd never been here and was curious to try them out. The menu had many options, though some were at a higher price points than other restaurants. The sushi rolls leaned just more on the less rice to more filling ratio, which was great as it created a better mouthfeel and more balanced texture and flavour. As for the tiny offering of ginger and wasabi on the same plate as the mango roll and sashimi, it would have been much better to offer these on a separate plate. Unless all of your sushi came at the same time, you're left without these to pair with your meal. He ordered extra meats and noodles for the tonkotsu classic, creating a giant bowl of filling ramen. He noted that the flavour was pretty good and liked the greens that came with it. Overall, we had a decent experience but the price points and quality compared to other Japanese restaurants doesn't entice us to make a quick return here for more.
